Privacy Policy for Acadiana Water Filtration

Acadiana Water Filtration, operated by Hargrave's Plumbing in Lafayette, Louisiana (“we,” “us” or “our”), runs this website. This policy explains what the site collects and how it is used.

1. Information you send us

If you fill out the request form on the contact page, you give us:

• Your name and phone number (required)
• Your email address (optional)
• Your town, and whether your water comes from the city or a private well (optional)
• Anything you write about what you are noticing with your water (optional)
• The page you sent the form from, which the form adds on its own

We use this to answer your request, which usually means calling you during office hours to set a time for a water test. The form asks for your agreement to be contacted by phone or email before it can be sent.

Please do not put payment card numbers, account passwords or other sensitive details in the form. If you need to share something private, call the office instead.

2. How the form is delivered

The site does not keep your request in a database. When you send the form, it is checked for spam and then delivered to our office as an email, sent through Cloudflare Email Sending. The email then lives in our own mail and office records.

3. Spam protection

The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated programs. To do that, Cloudflare receives technical information from your browser, such as your IP address and browser details, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.

4. Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most hosts, Cloudflare processes basic technical data about each visit, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

5. Analytics and cookies

This site may use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages are read. When it is in use, Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser, and Google receives technical information about your visit, such as your browser type and the pages you view, under Google's privacy policy.

Analytics does not record your name or anything you type into the form. The form goes to our office by email, as described above, and never to Google Analytics.

There is no cookie banner on this site. A site like this one is not required to show one in Louisiana, and we use the analytics data only to understand how the site is used.

You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings, or with Google's opt-out browser add-on.

6. Sharing your information

What you send through the form is shared:

• With the service providers that run the site and the form, as described above
• With Hargrave's Plumbing, the company that operates this business, so a visit can be scheduled
• When a court or other authority requires it

7. Links to other sites

This site links to Hargrave's Plumbing and to Cloudflare's and Google's policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites.

8. Children

This site is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

9. Your choices

You can ask us to correct or delete the information you sent through the form. Call the office and we will take care of it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
